  Leon was born in December 2010 with a heart condition called Tetralogy of Fallot. We searched for a bear to keep him company when he was in hospital and found Noel, the bummer bear. As you see Noel has a set of scrubs that he wore when Leon had his open heart surgery in June this year. Both are well and living happily in the uk.

  My husband underwent open heart surgery last month to repair a valve and was sent Mended Heart^® Bear by my parents. It was the one gift he was given during his ordeal that he is certain he will keep for many years. Our 3 year old nieces visited us soon after. Showing them the bear was a great way to explain their uncle's "boo-boo".
